Eye of the Storm: A Class Divided

by BLeath April 25, 2011 15:21

I've shared this story (also known as "Blue Eyes, Brown Eyes") so many times when discussing the Pygmalion Effect; I was delighted to find it online.  I suppose now I can shelve my warbly VHS copy.

More delightful, by far, is how increasingly anachronistic it feels just four short decades after it was filmed.  Society has a long, long way to go--but my, oh my--how far we've come in recent years.

When you can spare 49 minutes, consider watching it again.

Your skin will crawl and, to my way of thinking, that's your conscience, without which we are rudderless.

And with, we are guided.
